Why Did You Want
to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Kassem’s “origin story” is a very simple one. He literally woke up one day in high school and realized that he wanted to become a dentist! While it isn’t entirely clear where that sudden spark of inspiration came from, he definitely wouldn’t have it any other way.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After studying at Rutgers University in Camden, Dr. Kassem pursued his dental doctorate at Temple University. He also completed a General Practice Residency program at Kings County Hospital in NYC. To this day, he remains passionate about seeking out new continuing education opportunities, especially regarding new, cutting-edge technology. He is trained by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for BOTOX/dermal filler treatment and also regularly attends courses with SPEAR Education. He is proud to be a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association! Additionally, he is a member of the following organizations:

  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry

What Do You Like to Do?

As the youngest of six kids, Dr. Kassem certainly comes from a big family. Today, he has 14 nieces and nephews! He and his wife also have a young daughter of their own. Away from work, he spends his free time hanging out with loved ones, traveling the world, and being a food connoisseur. He also recently picked up bicycling and enjoys getting immersed in the occasional game of chess.
